When two or more SCR/dCSS decoders (DSTV, Openview, Freeview, etc.) share the same derived output, conventional splitters frequently cause command collisions and voltage conflicts. LEM’s SD2 and SD4 Smart Splitters eliminate these problems completely.
Both models feature:
- Smart function – stores DiSEqC/SCR commands and transmits them in the correct sequence
- Integrated dCSS current injector – stabilises power delivery to all connected receivers
- Programmable outputs – each port can be filtered for specific User Bands (U.B.) using the PSCD-01 programmer (sold separately).
Choose the right model for your installation:
| Feature | SD2 (2-Way) | SD4 (4-Way) |
|---|---|---|
| Number of outputs | 2 | 4 |
| Frequency range | 5 – 2400 MHz | 5 – 2400 MHz |
| Insertion loss | 4 dB | 10 dB |
| Return loss | > 10 dB | > 10 dB |
| Max. consumption | 25 mA | 25 mA |
| Dimensions | 59 × 45 × 31 mm | 72 × 65 × 27 mm |
Ideal for:
- Multi-receiver SCR/dCSS systems
- DSTV installations
- Any setup where several decoders must share one output from an SCD multiswitch or similar device
Both models are compact, low-power, and designed for professional satellite distribution systems.
Technical Highlights (common to both)
- Wideband operation: 5–2400 MHz
- Low power consumption: only 25 mA
- Programmable User Band filtering via PSCD-01
- Integrated dCSS current injector
- High return loss (> 10 dB)
Select the SD2 for smaller installations or the SD4 when you need to connect up to four SCR/dCSS receivers on the same line.
